Job Description
We are actively seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (PE) to join our innovative and fast-paced team! This leadership role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer with a strong foundation in civil site development exceptional technical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality design solutions. You will play a critical role in shaping large-scale multi-discipline projects across the commercial federal municipal retail healthcare and industrial sectors nationwide.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage civil engineering site development projects from concept through construction.
- Create design proposals feasibility studies design narratives reports and system modeling.
- Conduct reviews of site surveys geotechnical reports and specifications.
- Oversee the development of civil design drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings site visits and city development meetings.
- Prepare construction observation reports and respond to RFIs during bidding and construction.
- Support team development and establish standards for drawing quality and process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) multi-state licensure preferred
- 510 years of experience in civil design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to estimate project fees and develop proposals
- Willingness to travel locally and nationally as needed
Knowledge of: - Local codes and design trends
- Federal Facility Criteria / Whole Building Design Guide (WBDG)
- Architectural/engineering project environments
