Job Description
Join a fast-growing locally owned engineering firm in Austin TX as a Mechanical Engineer PE / Project Manager focused on HVAC and Plumbing design. This is a long-term direct hire opportunity with an award-winning company known for its collaborative environment career growth and exciting projects in commercial healthcare educational and municipal markets.
Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer mechanical systems (HVAC and plumbing) using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Lead and manage projects from design through deliveryensure timelines budgets and quality standards are met.
- Create construction documents and technical reports for a wide range of building types including:
- Commercial Offices
- K12 Schools
- Municipal Facilities
- Healthcare Buildings
- Multifamily Developments
- Conduct design reviews resolve field issues and collaborate with project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and represent the company in client meetings.
- Support business development efforts by cultivating relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Masters a plus)
- Professional Engineer (PE) License Required
- Minimum 6 years of experience in HVAC and/or plumbing design and project management
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
- Experience with commercial and institutional building projects
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Must be a U.S. Citizen Green Card holder or TN Visa holder
