Job Description
Position Summary:
The Quality Manager position in Whitewater WI is responsible for overseeing the organizations quality management system (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards. This role involves developing implementing and maintaining quality processes conducting internal audits and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all departments.
Work Youll Do:
- Quickly assess and respond to quality-related needs and requirements demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Utilize your expertise in quality management ISO standards and continuous improvement to recommend effective solutions.
- Leverage your knowledge of quality systems and industry best practices to guide teams towards compliance and process improvement.
- Develop implement and review quality documentation including procedures policies and work instructions.
- Conduct and coordinate internal audits to verify adherence to quality policies and standards.
- Support management in reviewing quality performance data and identifying areas for growth.
- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives related to product or process issues.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support lean activities and promote quality initiatives.
- Track key quality metrics generate reports and support ongoing certification efforts.

This role will be part of theQuality Assurance and Continuous Improvement teamat Coperion in Whitewater WI.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Quality Management Engineering Manufacturing or related field.
- Proven experience in quality management internal audits and ISO 9001 standards.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and training abilities.
- Knowledge of quality documentation procedures and metrics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a manufacturing or process-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with 5S lean practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of industry-specific standards or certifications.
