Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - Enterprise Data Modeler
Responsibilities
Work with team on client engagements that could either be delivered from the offices or at the client locations
Working with the Business Units to identify the data requirements
Strong Data Modeling experience and knowledge (Relational & Dimensional)
Implement the identified requirement in the conceptual logical and physical/schema models
Create mapping documents showing data movement in partnership with the sourcing system or consuming system developers
Support technical leaders and architects in developing solution designs and proofs of concept
Demonstrate a demeanor of just do it and appetite for learning
Qualifications/Minimum qualifications
Masters or Undergraduate in the either of the following disciplines: Computer Science/Data Analytics/Information Systems/Business Analytics/Supply Chain Analytics
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Good analytical and problem solving skills and ability to balance team and client discussions.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Enterprise Data Modeling (Third Normal Form/3NF) including the managing of standardized Metadata conventions
Experience with Enterprise Data Modeling Logical Data Modeling or Conceptual Data Modeling
Strong experience with designing XML Schemas (XSDs)
Strong experience with XML modeling tools like XMLSpy
Experience with logical modeling tools (e.g. Erwin)
Experience working with Insurance(preferably) business areas to translate their business data needs and data gaps
Experience with cloud data technologies such Snowflake GCP DBT Fivetran
Preferably exp. with Consumer Packaged goods
