In this position you will provide safe and efficient execution oversight coordination planning development and administration of technical activities and support and assist with day-to-day operations and pipeline maintenance related items throughout the region. What You Will Do:

  • Assist supervisor and PLM team in Interpretation and application of Enbridge engineering standards State and Federal regulations industry codes and industry recommend practices

  • Work continually with engineering with regard to system ops PLM needs and on PLM projects related to operations needs including proper scheduling and planning for maintenance projects and needs

  • Development of Open System Job Planning Templates Hydro-test plans and other project specific documents in conjunction with engineering and operations

  • Participate and or lead in design reviews tie-in coordination outage scope identification and outage work sequencing and alignment

  • Assists PLM Supervisor in coordinating day to day PLM duties schedule and projects

  • Fill in and act as PLM Supervisor when supervisor is gone

  • Develop processes and procedures related to PLM

  • Develop project execution plans related to PLM accountabilities

  • Estimate labor equipment and materials for specific jobs or projects

  • Equipment and material specification and procurement

  • Capital tools and equipment purchase identification including cost/benefit development

  • Management of Capital and Operating projects in conjunction with PLM Supervisor

  • Finds opportunities and has keen awareness of interrelationships with other stakeholders

  • Supervise and/or assist during emergency response activities

  • Participate in Region safety program by attending and participating in Region and group safety meetings

  • Supports the Supervisor in the development and implementation of SCNs and AFEs from the budget proposal stage through contract administration construction management and cost control and reporting

  • Perform day-to-day Region operations activities as requested per PLM specific role; complete various documentation including permits and FLHA reports and utility crossings ensure regulatory compliance and review Company and PLM standards and procedures

  • Assist U.S. Projects personnel and PMs with capital projects that impact and will be done in the Region

  • Review and recommend procedural changes to pipeline operations/PLM as needed

  • Provide operations support on various technical issues

  • Provide 24-hour emergency and operations call-out support

Who You Are:

You have the following education and experience

Required:

  • Related university degree and sixplus years of experience OR eightplus years of previous field operations experience OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.

  • Proven project management and logistical coordination skills.

  • Strong project management and contract administration skills related to budget coordination management contractor oversight and inspection and landowner liaison.

  • Ability to comprehend and apply technical/engineering concepts including material standards regulatory codes and standards.

Preferred:

  • An excellent attitude towards and knowledge of corporate safety policies and procedures.

  • Mechanical / electrical aptitude and administrative ability related pipeline experience.

  • Strong interpersonal written verbal and computer skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Area of responsibility: Southwest Region with an emphasis on PLM needs.

  • Mixed office and field environment.

  • Indoor and outdoor work in areas where pipeline maintenance is conducted.

  • Overnight travel and extended days of up to 14 hours as the job dictates throughout the year

  • May be required to support work or emergency response activities during off hours

Physical Requirements:
