Job Description


Job Title: Deposition Coordinator
Location: Atlantic City NJ (On-site)
Schedule: Monday Friday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM (Day Shift)
Employment Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)

Client is a respected law firm serving clients in Insurance Defense and Employment/Casino Defense practice areas. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional legal services through a team that values professionalism attention to detail and client-focused solutions.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Deposition Coordinator to join our Atlantic City office. This role is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of depositions ensuring smooth scheduling communication and execution. The ideal candidate will have prior law firm experience strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a master deposition calendar in Microsoft Outlook.

  • Confirm depositions daily and communicate updates to all relevant parties.

  • Reschedule postponed depositions and coordinate with interested parties throughout the process.

  • Schedule court reporters translators and other vendors as requested by clients.

  • Work with Support Services to ensure meeting room setups are complete.

  • Maintain conference room schedules and post the daily schedule each evening.

  • Provide backup receptionist support handling incoming calls with professionalism and strong phone etiquette.

  • Perform Legal Assistant/Administrative tasks including calendaring preparing legal documents and drafting correspondence.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Prior law firm experience (required).

  • Prior Deposition Coordinator experience (preferred).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).

  • Familiarity with NetDocs is a plus.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
