About the role:
As Vice President of Sales Enablement you will lead Gartners global sales enablement strategy driving sales productivity and effectiveness across a 4000 person sales organization. Reporting to the Head of Enablement you will transform Gartners research insights and product innovations into compelling client-centric messaging that enables our salesforce to confidently engage C-level executives. Youll be a part of a growing team and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment consistency and measurable business impact.
Develop and execute a global scalable sales enablement strategy aligned with business priorities and revenue goals
Lead mentor and scale an enablement team
Translate complex research and product capabilities into concise differentiated value propositions for executive-level buyers
Create and deliver executive-ready enablement materials (sales trainings talking points probing questions)
Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales Research Product Marketing L&D) to drive alignment and effective messaging
Own enablement feedback and metrics and track rep adoption enablement effectiveness and sales productivity impact
Drive continuous improvement by gathering sales leadership and rep feedback and iterating on materials and training
Manage enablement program operations project timelines materials development and delivery
Executive presence with strong presentation and facilitation skills across senior and junior audiences
Strategic thinker with ability to simplify complex information into client-ready messaging and content
Exceptional written and verbal communication storytelling and content development
Cross-functional leadership and influence in a matrixed environment
Deep understanding of B2B sales processes and enterprise buying journeys
Highly organized with advanced project and program management skills
Strong data-driven mindset with ability to define track and analyze KPIs
1015 years in sales enablement sales sales operations or product marketing with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Proven experience managing enablement teams and delivering scalable programs that improve sales performance
Prior experience in a quota-carrying sales role strongly preferred
Track record of working with C-level audiences and creating high-impact executive messaging
Experience in a large matrixed organization (e.g. research advisory SaaS or enterprise B2B)
Bachelors degree required; advanced degree preferred

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 158000 USD - 221000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO a 401k match up to $7200 per year the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount and more.
