Job Description

Job Title: Residential Support Worker - Leicester
Location: Leicester
Pay Rate: 12.50 - 13.50 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role:

Support vulnerable children and young people in a residential care setting promoting their physical and emotional well-being and helping them achieve positive outcomes in life.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to residents
  • Assist with daily routines education and leisure activities
  • Record and report observations accurately
  • Promote safeguarding and child protection
  • Work closely with families social workers and other professionals

Qualifications and Essential Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Previous experience working with children or vulnerable individuals
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A full UK driving license (often preferred or required)
  • Enhanced DBS check
