Job Description
TITLE: Student Council AdviserSUMMARY: Reporting to the Building Principal the Student Council Adviser is responsible for guiding student leaders in successfully planning school and community events. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Helps students address student concerns and to make positive changes within the school. Promotes leadership opportunities for students within the school regional and state student councils students with access to various leadership conferences throughout the year. Attends all QUALIFICATIONS:Current member of the Oxford Education DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position for extended periods; position oneself to demonstrate technique; move up to 25 lbs. Accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the ENVIRONMENT:The work is generally performed primarily indoors and predominantly in a school classroom.
