Job Description

Are you a driven and strategic professional with a passion for procurement and supply chain excellence Join our DRiV team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of raw material procurement for our EMEA braking facilities. This role reports directly to theGlobal Commodity Managerand works closely with theRegional Purchasing Manager offering a dynamic environment where you can make a global impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing:Develop and implement commodity strategies to achieve corporate objectives including supplier rationalization cost management and localization initiatives.

  • Market Analysis:Monitor and communicate global business trends supply market dynamics and technological drivers to stakeholders.

  • Supplier Engagement:Build strategic supplier partnerships negotiate contracts and resolve escalations to enhance supply chain reliability.

  • Performance Optimization:Drive cost recovery initiatives manage supplier scorecards and oversee advanced technology procurement projects.

  • Risk Mitigation:Identify and address supply risks ensuring business continuity and financial stability within the supply chain.

  • Advanced Negotiation:Lead complex negotiations ensuring optimal outcomes for pricing payment terms and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

  • Education:Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Materials Management or Logistics.A Masters degree is a strong asset.

  • Experience:in purchasing or materials management preferably in high-volume manufacturing industries.

  • Skills:

    • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

    • Exceptional negotiation interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

  • Travel:Willingness to travel 30-60% of the time to suppliers and company facilities across EMEA.
