Position Overview
The role of a Business Development & Proposal Executive is responsible for driving business growth through the development of tailored project proposals strategic partnerships and client engagement initiatives. This role supports the company s expansion through insightful project planning collaborative execution of digital and web-related initiatives and the preparation of persuasive proposals to secure new opportunities. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to position the company competitively in the market and support the execution of strategic client-driven projects.
Role and Responsibilities
Project Proposal Development & Writing
- Develop tailored clear and compelling project proposals pitches and concept documents for strategic opportunities across sectors.
- Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and other opportunity calls with timely and high-quality submissions.
- Ensure all project documentation aligns with client requirements organizational goals and industry standards.
Strategic Planning & Market Research
- Conduct comprehensive research on potential partners industries and competitors to inform proposal development and identify strategic fit.
- Gather internal data to support the creation of realistic project plans budgets and timelines.
- Support ongoing development of sector-specific strategies by identifying trends challenges and growth areas.
Partnership Development & Coordination
- Collaborate with internal departments sales design technology finance to co-develop integrated proposals and client engagement strategies.
- Act as the bridge between client requirements and internal capabilities ensuring smooth project execution planning.
- Liaise with external stakeholders to nurture meaningful partnerships and track engagement progress.
Digital & Website Projects Involvement
- Participate in the planning and documentation of web-based projects ensuring deliverables align with client specifications and timelines.
- Coordinate with design and development teams to understand technical components for inclusion in proposals or project documents.
- Contribute to digital product documentation client onboarding materials and post-launch review reports.
Documentation & Quality Assurance
- Maintain a repository of project plans templates proposals and documentation for internal use and efficiency.
- Review and edit outgoing materials for consistency accuracy and professionalism.
- Track project documentation workflows and timelines ensuring timely submission and version control.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor proposal and partnership success metrics identifying areas for continuous improvement.
- Maintain dashboards or reports on active engagements opportunity pipeline and client correspondence.
- Assist in evaluating return on investment (ROI) for successful partnerships or project executions.
Client Interaction & Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain professional communication with current and prospective clients during and after proposal submission.
- Follow up to gather feedback and maintain momentum toward client onboarding or project kick-off.
- Represent the company in stakeholder meetings briefings or partner forums as required.
Process Optimization & Learning
- Identify bottlenecks in proposal or planning processes and recommend improvements.
- Stay updated on best practices in partnership development proposal writing and digital strategy.
- Attend industry events webinars or internal training sessions to improve role effectiveness.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform any other duties as reasonably assigned by the supervisor or management that align with the employee s skills qualifications and the overall purpose of the role.

Requirements
Experience Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Sales and Marketing Communications or a related field.
- A certification in Proposal/Bid Management is an added advantage.
- 2-3 years proven experience in a similar role particularly within the digital projects and creative solutions space is essential.
