Wellness Coordinators are often the first point of contact for clients and visitors to the Wellness Centre. The candidate must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while still maintaining a compassionate and professional approach with all clients visitors and staff. Answering incoming phone calls and inquiries from clients volunteers and staff is primary to this role as is connecting clients to appropriate resource.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet clients and visitors to The Mustard Seed
- Triage and book appointments for clients with programs as needed
- Ensure computerized appointment system is up-to-date
- Respond and/or redirect all patient and visitor requests accordingly
- Set-up new clients into the computer system
- Ensure correspondence reports results etc. are filed electronically in correct client record
- Ensure reception and waiting areas are kept neat and tidy
- Re-stocking of information leaflets as appropriate
- Answer phone calls in a polite and courteous manner as well as track log and transfer phone calls accordingly
- Greet oversee and monitor volunteer & guest activities within the Wellness Centre
- Consistently communicate with the Community Centre Staff as issues arise
- Perform clerical duties
- Provide crisis intervention as required
- Advocate for guests as needed both to access resources within and outside the organization
- Ensure guests accessed external resources by completing follow up with guests and agencies
- Support the interdisciplinary team through clerical management of clinical and non-clinical programs
- Provide input into program evaluation as necessary
- Build a comprehensive library and knowledge base on community resources
- Share and disseminate community resource information
- Track assigned guests progress with external resources
- Communicate relevant information to Caseworker about interactions with guests and observed behavior
- Document guest interactions guest referrals and guest progress on documentation platform
- Track statistics and prepare reports as required
- Attend meetings and training as assigned
- Keep guests records and information confidential updated and secure
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Attaining a degree in Social Work or Psychology is preferred
- Competent in use of MS Office
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent administrative time management and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently
