Join a high-performing team passionate about podcasting in the audio and radio space. We create top-quality content in a fun collaborative environment. Our vibrant Gold Coast office located in beautiful Broadbeach is currently trialling a 9-day fortnightgiving you every second Friday off to rest and recharge!
A day in the life
As an Announcer / Assistant Content Director youll play a key role in shaping and delivering SEA FMs sound on the Gold Coast and the Hit Network across Regional Australia. Youll bring compelling creative radio content to life helping drive audience engagement on-air and across digital platforms.
From developing and executing content strategy with the Content Director to jumping on air with topical local contentno two days are the same! Youll work closely with production and promotions teams lead planning meetings support talent development and contribute to promotional strategies social media and local LiSTNR podcast content.
What Youll Be Doing:
Develop and execute the stations content strategy in partnership with the Content Director
Create and deliver exceptional local and national on-air content that reflects and excites our audience
Provide support and coaching to on-air teams and producers
Contribute to social media and promotional campaigns in line with brand strategy
Monitor competition manage meetings and contribute to a fun creative high-performing team culture
Take to the mic as an announcer with content that is local topical and connects with our listeners
What Youll Need:
Proven on-air experience and a natural ability to engage audiences
Leadership qualities with a passion for mentoring and supporting others
A deep understanding of audience-first radio content and social media engagement
Strong planning and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced creative environment
