Job Description
Required Skills
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- 46 years of experience in network administration or systems support roles.
- Experience managing and maintaining enterprise network and server environments.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting routers switches firewalls and load balancers.
- Experience with system software installation patching and upgrades.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and performance tuning techniques.
- Understanding of backup restore and disaster recovery procedures.
- Ability to document network events changes and configurations using standard formats.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one. Shift - Day Swing on-call night
Desired Skills
- Experience supporting secure federal or defense-related IT environments.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g. Oracle VM VMware) and network storage systems.
- Experience with IAVA compliance STIGs and DoD cybersecurity standards.
- Knowledge of Exadata InfiniBand and Oracle-based infrastructure components.
- Exposure to interface management and coordination with external systems.
- Experience supporting 24/7/365 operations and collaborating with help desk and audit teams
