Job Description
Journeyman HVAC Technician

Key Information:
- Hours: Project dependent; Monday - Friday. Minimum 40 hours per week with overtime necessary during the busy season (April-October)
- Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Job Description:
- Install HVAC systems including boilers air conditioners and ventilation systems according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to accurately install systems.
- Conduct diagnostics on malfunctioning HVAC units and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
Experience and Certification Requirements:
- Completion of an HVAC training program - Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Certificate and Gasfitter Class B Certificate (Preferred)
- 3 year commercial and residential experience as an HVAC Installer or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to build plumb weld and repair appliances.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems equipment and components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- A reliable means of transportation is required.
- Proficient English language skills required.
Education: Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Certificate and Gasfitter Class B Certificate (Preferred)
