Job Title: Social Worker Leaving Care Team
Location: Cheshire West and Chester
Pay Rate: 40

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a Leaving Care Team based in Cheshire West and Chester.

About the job:

The organization is hiring social workers for theLeaving Care Team (Supporting Independence Team)within the permanency hub working with young people aged15 to 25inCheshire West and Chester. The role involves supporting looked after children through care and pathway planning to develop independent living skills. Candidates should live nearby as regular office work is required. Accommodation or travel costs are not covered and newly qualified social workers are not suitable.

What will your responsibilities be

  • Provide support to children families and connected persons under care orders
  • Assist young people leaving care in developing resilience and independence
  • Ensure child-centered decision-making processes
  • Manage a diverse and complex caseload effectively
  • Maintain a strong focus on safeguarding and child protection
  • Collaborate with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for children
