Join our dynamic Powertrain department as a Process Engineer where youll play a key role in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes. Your expertise will drive the success of engine and transmission machining or assembly lines ensuring high-quality production and operational Responsibilities:
- Develop operating process plans for machining or assembling parts in the Powertrain department.
- Lead planning procurement installation trial and launch of engine/transmission machining or assembly lines.
- Create and manage schedules and budgets for assigned areas.
- Develop and enhance standard tools and benchmarks to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across local and corporate departments to achieve project goals.
- Visualize activity plans and schedules to facilitate consensus and prioritize projects.
- Analyze manufacturing issues identify root causes and communicate effective countermeasure plans to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (or 5 years of equivalent experience).
- 1 year (3 years preferred) in process engineering including schedule and budget management.
- 1 year (3 years preferred) in planning implementation and production support for mass production lines (>9K capacity/month).
- 1 year (3 years preferred) of AutoCAD experience (ability to read interpret and modify).
- 1 year (3 years preferred) of 3D CAD experience (ability to read and interpret).
- Willingness to work overtime and during weekends or shutdown periods (e.g. July and December holidays) as needed.
- Flexibility for up to 20% domestic and international business travel.
