4:00 pm to 12:30 am M-F and every third weekend 4:00 pm to 12:30 am

As a leader in hospice and palliative care we are seeking a Hospice House Clinical Manager to oversee clinical operations at our extraordinary hospice house location. In this vital leadership role youll help ensure that our patients and their families receive exceptional compassionate care during one of lifes most meaningful transitions.

About the Role
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Clinical Operations you will provide strategic and hands-on leadership to clinical teams in the hospice house setting. Youll guide interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care that addresses physical emotional and spiritual needs all while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and operational excellence. This is more than a management positionits an opportunity to lead in a mission-driven environment where your clinical expertise and leadership will directly impact patient outcomes and family experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate evening and night clinical operations at the hospice house.
  • Supervise mentor and evaluate nursing and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Screen and oversee patient admissions to ensure appropriate level of care.
  • Collaborate on staffing plans scheduling orientation and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with all state federal and accrediting body requirements.
  • Monitor and support quality metrics patient/family satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
  • Serve as a liaison between medical staff hospice team members and organizational leadership.
  • Support budgetary planning and operational efficiency.

Who You Are

  • A Registered Nurse licensed in Massachusetts.
  • A natural leader with at least 3 years of management experience in hospice palliative acute or long-term care.
  • Passionate about hospice philosophy and deeply familiar with symptom management and end-of-life care.
  • Experienced in regulatory compliance including DPH CMS JCAHO or CHAP.
  • A mentor and coach who fosters staff development collaboration and communication.
  • A compassionate communicator with strong decision-making and organizational skills.
  • A licensed driver with access to a reliable insured vehicle.
