A competitive remuneration package including base salary generous 17% superannuation remote site allowance overtime and additional other provisions and travel support will be provided.
Headquartered at Monash University in Melbourne with an operational footprint Australia-wide the Maintenance Technology Institute (MTI) is a commercially orientated professional research and engineering organisation that has been providing professional engineering services to major mining companies; such as BHP Rio Tinto Glencore and Anglo American since 2000.
Due to sustained growth we are now seeking to add your engineering and technical skill to the team in Western Australia in the role of Field Instrumentation Technician.
In this position you will be based in Perth and will collaborate with MTI staff and mining staff in order to carry out fieldwork on remote mining sites across Western Australia working closely with senior engineers and mine site staff you will help deliver high impact real-time monitoring systems on heavy engineering equipment used in the mining industry.

While the initial contract is for 12 months there is a strong likelihood of extension beyond this term. This role is a full-time position and will be required to perform shift work whilst on site in accordance with project task requirements however some flexible working arrangements may be negotiable.
