Our New Amazon Project in Australia is expanding our sales team to make business even easier for Australian customers across all verticals.

Account Executives in our New Project Sales segment are responsible for building and managing their book of customers leveraging solution-selling traditional and digital prospecting tactics and supporting long-term strategic customer relationships. The primary areas of responsibility include prospecting expert knowledge of features and products to create a personalized solution (feature adoption) and developing relationships across different functional areas such as Operations Supply Chain Information Technology Facilities and more.

Account Executives will ensure recommended solutions meet our customers business needs and will recommend approaches and alternatives that fit their environment including but not limited to advanced payment and automated reconciliation processes. The candidate will work closely with customers to manage deployment and ensure that our solutions are successfully adopted.

The ideal candidate will have relevant consultative sales experience a proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals and revenue targets and proven success presenting to and managing relationships with senior and C-Level stakeholders.

This position requires full-time in-office presence 5 days per week at our CBD location.

Key job responsibilities
- Owns all facets of the relationship management process for large complex accounts within the assigned territory.
- Assumes ownership of the pipeline and exerts influence over the outreach and engagement process.
- Meets or exceeds targets for prospecting and acquiring new customers as well as managing customer accounts.
- Engages with customers up to the VP/SVP level.
- Demonstrates the ability to articulate discuss and contribute to the customers strategy and key focal points.
- Capable of successfully concluding customer negotiations involving various stakeholders.
- Is familiar with relevant operational processes and workflows.
- Has knowledge of enterprise systems and other technological solutions.
- Prepares strategic account plans and written narratives for internal executives and stakeholders
- Drives periodic innovation aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Collaborates closely with professional services marketing merchandising business development customer service and other key internal Amazon stakeholders.

Your day will involve prospecting creating personalized solutions through expert knowledge of features and products and developing relationships across various functional areas. Youll ensure that our recommended solutions meet our customers business needs recommending approaches and alternatives that fit their environment. Collaboration with customers to manage deployment and ensure successful adoption of our solutions will be a key part of your role.

About the team
Youll be joining a team dedicated to innovation and excellence. Together were focused on expanding our sales team to better serve Australian customers. Our vision is to make business easier for customers across all verticals and youll play a crucial role in achieving this goal. Youll work closely with colleagues across different functional areas contributing to the teams overall success.

- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- 2 years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce retail technology SaaS) or equivalent experience
- Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative solutions-focused approach or equivalent
- Demonstrated track record of successfully positioning and selling solutions to new and existing customers and market segments

- 4 years of inside sales experience
- Knowledge of procurement and source to pay methods at small and medium businesses
- Experience influencing at all levels within an organization particularly at the executive level
- Experience with MS Office Suite CRMs (Salesforce) and other systems
- Demonstrated success identifying prioritizing developing and growing a book of Fortune 2K strategic customer accounts
