Parks Maintenance
The parks maintenance Seasonal position performs a variety of duties including garbage and branch/debris removal; grass cutting/trimming of parks and properties across the city; preventive maintenance on equipment; and engagement with the public with general inquiries.
Candidate Requirements
- OSSD (or equivalent)
- Valid Class G Drivers Licence with an abstract acceptable to City guidelines
- Experience in grass cutting parks maintenance cleaning other related work experience
Working Conditions
- Outside in spring/summer/fall weather conditions
- Physical labour with moderate to heavy lifting
- Operating riding mowers tractors trimmers hedgers truck and trailer
Hours of Work
- 40 hours/week
- Shift work weekdays weekends evenings
