The Management area has a vibrant research faculty. Full-time tenure track faculty include David Chandler Vinit Desai Cyrus Dioun Kyle Ehrhardt Michelle Marks Kelly See and Traci Sitzmann. The Management Program supports the MBA program and offers an MS in Management with three distinct specializations and the BSBA emphases in Management and Human Resource Management. The Business School at the University of Colorado Denver invites applications for one full-time tenure track Assistant Professor position(s) in Management with an emphasis in Strategic Management or Organization Theory (or related field). The start date for the position(s) is August 2026.
Assistant Professor of Management
What you will do:
The successful candidate is expected to maintain a track record of high-quality peer-reviewed published academic research in their field. The position consists of 40% teaching 40% research and 20% normal teaching load is 4 courses per academic year. This is typically reduced to 3 courses during the initial years of the appointment. Classes may be on-campus online or in a hybrid format depending on departmental or program needs.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $ 145000-$170000.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity experience education specialty and training.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.
