Job Description
Provide general laboratory support and conduct scientific experiments working with infection disease models. Utilize tissue culture-related methods molecular and cellular biology techniques imaging RT- PCR and viral quantification. Provide general lab support including preparation of solutions ordering and inventory of supplies lab safety documentation and equipment maintenance. Work under direct supervisory guidance with regular meetings around research goals and data with expectation of progression to increasing levels of more independent work and self-directed planning and conducting of day-to-day experiments.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience in cell culture and working with viruses is highly preferred.
Other Information
this position is only budgeted for 12 months.
