Senior Corporate Accounting Manager

This full-time leadership position offers a competitive salary of $160000 $165000 plus a 15% annual bonus generous paid time off and excellent benefits. Youll oversee key accounting functionssuch as revenue and lease accounting fixed assets and debt/treasurywhile leading a collaborative team across both domestic and international locations.

This is a hybrid role based in Buffalo New York.
Responsibilities:
- Lead global accounting processes for revenue recognition lease accounting fixed assets and debt/treasury ensuring accuracy compliance and timeliness.
- Manage and mentor a team of senior accountants supervisors and revenue managers driving team engagement accountability and performance.
- Oversee month-end and quarter-end close cycles in a fast-paced public company environment ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
- Serve as a key contributor and decision-maker in the companys ERP upgrade including testing implementation input and training.
- Assist with accounting due diligence and integration for M&A activity including occasional travel for site visits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
- 8 years of accounting experience with a blend of public accounting and/or corporate accounting in a global manufacturing or public company environment.
- Experience managing accounting teams and building effective reporting structures.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP technical accounting areas (e.g. revenue leases fixed assets) and SOX compliance.
- Proven ability to lead through change stay organized under tight deadlines and see the bigger picture while managing details.
- Positive attitude strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to leadership and collaboration.
