Linfield University is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Assistant Director of Admission Events Management to join our Enrollment Services team. This full-time exempt role plays a critical part in planning and executing campus engagement experiences while serving as a key representative of the university to prospective students and their families.
The Senior Assistant Director of Admission Events Management is responsible for leading the planning coordination and execution of on- and off-campus admission-related events. This position works collaboratively across university departments and is a vital contributor to the universitys undergraduate recruitment and enrollment strategies. The role requires significant travel event planning experience and a proactive organized approach to communication and outreach.
Plan and lead campus recruitment events throughout the year.
Coordinate with conference and event services for campus space.
Develop event promotion content and collaborate on marketing materials.
Manage event logistics including registration agendas RSVPs and on-site materials.
Host virtual information sessions and support visit scheduling for prospective students.
Implement recruitment strategies for assigned territories.
Travel to high schools colleges and recruitment fairs.
Build and maintain relationships with counselors students and families.
Coordinate events like open houses scholarship days and special campus programs.
Work collaboratively with university departments and alumni.
Monitor travel budgets and support marketing promotions.
Meet recruiting goals and stay informed of trends in admission.
Assist with managing the Admission Office front desk and phone lines.
Greet and support walk-in visitors.
Maintain professional communication and assist with application troubleshooting.
Support web content social media and communication material editing.
Serve on campus-wide committees and support professional development.
Work Schedule: M-F 8:00 am -p 5:00 pm some evenings and weekends.

Bachelors degree required.
Minimum two years of experience in event planning and project management.
Admission or higher education experience preferred.
Strong communication organizational and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse communities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office CRM tools and event systems.
Valid Oregon drivers license and willingness to travel.
Light work with frequent sitting talking hearing and seeing.
Frequent use of hands and fingers; occasional lifting up to 40 pounds.
Willingness to travel by air or automobile and work evenings/weekends.
