Job Description

The Director of National Accounts will lead a strategic portfolio of high-value clients including publicly traded enterprises and franchised dealer groups. This individual will be accountable for driving revenue growth through both organic expansion and new client acquisition. Success in this role requires a collaborative approach across all departments a strong sense of urgency in resolving client issues and the ability to lead high-impact presentations to executive stakeholdersboth internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to a team of National Accounts professionals ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Achieve annual sales and revenue targets by expanding existing relationships and securing new national account partnerships.
  • Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with key departments including Risk Sales Operations Finance and Client Services.
  • Establish and maintain a structured communication cadence with all major accounts to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Demonstrate agility and urgency in addressing client needs and resolving escalations.
  • Approve and oversee standard operating procedures for the effective management of national accounts.
  • Identify pursue and convert new business opportunities to support long-term growth.
  • Deliver regular updates to senior leadership on account performance opportunities and risks.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Proactively flag potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies to protect business interests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Finance & Insurance (F&I) within the automotive warranty or insurance sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Exceptional leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives.
