Director Estimating Services

We are seeking an experienced Director of Estimating to lead their estimating team and ensure the delivery of precise competitive and profitable project bids. Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed accurate cost estimates by analyzing project specifications drawings and documentation including materials labor and equipment costs.
- Project Analysis: Evaluate the feasibility profitability and risks of proposed projects to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders and customers to gather the necessary data for competitive bids.
- Data Management: Leverage historical project data and productivity analysis to refine current estimates and maintain accurate cost records.
- Team Leadership: Manage mentor and develop the estimating team including hiring training and performance management.
- Technical Support: Provide expertise and guidance on estimation processes methodologies and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Management Business Administration or related field (equivalent industry experience will be considered).
- Strong knowledge of estimation methodology engineering principles and mathematics.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for risk assessment.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the role with or without accommodation.
