Educational Service Unit 7 is seeking applicants to fill the opening of the Title IC Education Program (T1C) Recruiter for Dodge Saunders and Washington counties. This full time position is responsible for proper and timely identification and recruitment of all eligible children in the ESU 7T1C project. Recruiters obtain pertinent information to document the basis of a childs eligibility using criteria established in guidance by the U.S. Department of Education Office of Migrant Education.

- Demonstrate knowledge and competence in using the electronic Certificate of Eligibility (COE) and MIS2000 database.
- Identify assess and evaluate information received from a variety of sources in determining prospective eligible students and their families for program services.
- Meet and interview prospective eligible students and their families to determine eligibility for program services.
- Establish and maintain a relationship with eligible families once they have been recruited.
- Knowledge of and compliance with the State ID&R process and timelines.
- Communicate with school district staff and employers of eligible workers andT1C and establish procedures of communication concerning census information.
- Collaborate with public and private community agencies associated with serving rural/urban populations.
- Ability to travel on a regional state and national level.
- Ability to read and evaluate information on printed stateadopted COE form.
- Communicate with other ESU 7 and NDET1C staff regarding COE information.
- Participate in local state and national trainings to remain current on all federal and state requirements and standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of information concerningT1C staff eligible students and families.
- Promote and attend local state and nationalT1C sponsored events and trainings.
- Complete routine paperwork.
- Adhere to all ESU 7 policies procedures and supervisory directives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
