Job Description
Our client is a nationally recognized CPA and consulting firm based in Atlanta with over 40 years of proven success. They are currently seeking a Tax Director to lead and manage complex tax engagements within a collaborative clientcentered environment. This highimpact leadership role offers the opportunity to work across multiple industries including real estate construction technology and private equity while mentoring team members and shaping strategic tax initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and review complex tax returns and audits for accuracy and compliance

Ensure adherence to federal and state tax regulations

Lead tax research and provide proactive planning strategies for clients

Act as a trusted technical advisor to both clients and internal teams

Mentor supervise and develop tax staff across varying experience levels

Coordinate with audit teams on large crossfunctional client engagements
Qualifications:

Active CPA license required
-
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in public accounting

Proven experience representing clients before tax authorities

Proficiency with tax software preferably CCH ProSystem fx

Bachelors degree in Accounting; Masters in Taxation preferred
