Job Description

Kindle Ereaders are among the bestselling products in the history of Amazon with a rich legacy for driving customerfocused innovation. Our growth requires leaders who operate both strategically and tactically; think big to drive new opportunities; dive deep in data to uncover customer insights; break down and solve complex problems; and drive operational excellence.

The Kindle Devices team is seeking a creative collaborative and resultsoriented marketing leader to define and drive marketing strategies and campaigns for our full portfolio of launched products including Kindle Paperwhite Kindle Colorsoft and Kindle Scribe. In this role you will lead and influence diverse teams (product sales analytics brand content engagement) to deliver measurable business impact while maintaining the highest standard of creative and strategic excellence. You will become an expert in and raise the bar for digital marketing channels including Amazon homepage mobile app product detail pages email search and push notifications.

The ideal candidate brings demonstrated success launching and scaling digital marketing programs a proven track record of datadriven decisionmaking and experience leading complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders. This is a high visibility role in a fastpaced environment with with frequent opportunity to interact with and report on results to senior leadership.

Key job responsibilities
Use data and insights to develop and implement marketing campaigns optimize and evaluate campaign performance and have an experimentation mindset.
Work collaboratively and effectively across a large crossfunctional organization including centralized Marketing and Brand teams essential to your products success.
Plan a robust A/B testing strategy for email and other onsite channels to continually improve performance. Experiment with different messaging targeting and creative approaches to enhance overall campaign effectiveness.
Contribute to the development of marketing creative including website content social media posts email newsletters and promotional materials.
Analyze customer cohorts and behaviors to develop targeted marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition retention and reading subscription growth. Leverage customer insights to refine and optimize lifecycle marketing programs.
Stay uptodate with the latest trends in digital marketing email marketing and ecommerce to ensure Kindle devices remain at the forefront of innovative marketing strategies. Proactively recommend new tactics and tools to improve performance and customer experience.

5 years of professional noninternship marketing experience
Experience building executing and scaling crossfunctional marketing programs
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with customer segmentation profiling and targeting

Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation macros charts and pivot tables)
Experience communicating results to senior leadership
Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
Experience with A/B Testing or MultiVariate Testing or both

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
