Your role
In this role you will be providing local IT support to the Warsaw Linklaters office. This involves the provision and management of IT hardware and the delivery of IT support services. This work will include the logging diagnosing monitoring and resolving of requests and problems using a call management system.
You will work as part of a local IT support team and be guided by experienced IT engineers.
Key responsibilities include:
Assist in management of the local IT hardware over the entire asset lifecycle; from procurement to installation supervision audits reporting and replacement.
Follow global IT processes and procedures locally.
Help to maintain the asset management database.
Support the IT engineers in engaging with external vendors.
Provide first line application and hardware support for local Technology tools. Troubleshoot engage with users maintain the call queue while working with other Technology teams and functions to resolve the issues.
Be proactive in review and consultation of local IT processes and services ensuring they are fit for purpose and delivering the right quality of services.
Your experience
In this role customer service and communication skills are as important as technical aptitude and ability to fix issues. You will learn how to engage appropriately with the users and how to communicate and engage with other technical teams to find and resolve root causes of issues.
This is a stakeholderfacing role therefore you must be comfortable with building and maintain stakeholder relationships in work and spend as much time with the users themselves as with the IT systems themselves.
The key technologies that the Local IT support are centered around physical devices and looking after those devices (laptops phones conferencing solutions) will be the key part of this role.
You must be passionate about Technology whether through education work experience or hobbies & interests
Customer service experience is a plus with a desire to engage directly with stakeholders on a daily basis
Experience and ability of manually handling IT equipment is desirable .
You will need to display initiative were looking for apprentices who can identify opportunities and take them headon
You have to be an open communicator able to take and give feedback
Quality & attention to detail have to be a priority for you in everything you do
