Role Summary
Please note this role is on a 12 month fixed term contract initially.
As the Lead Workplace Technology Engineer at PEXA UK you will be responsible for evolving and supporting our modern digital workplace environment. You will work with a small team of engineers managing predominantly Microsoft end-user services.
This is very much a hands-on technical role in a Lead capacity for a seasoned engineer who can make an impact from day one combining your technical know-how and strategic thinking to deliver the ongoing workplace technology strategy. You will engage with key stakeholders both in the UK and Australia so communication skills and gravitas a crucial to be successful.
Equally as important are a broader set of skills and experience in being able to self-manage plan projects delegate tasks and work in a team player.
With a strong user-centric mindset you will ensure secure reliable and streamlined access to tools and services that empower productivity collaboration and compliance across our UK business.
This role will work closely with existing IT support functions and may evolve to take ownership of aspects of the IT support service depending on how the organisation grows.
The successful candidate will bring a collaborative approach helping to align support and workplace technologies for a seamless user experience.
While predominantly based from home team members meet up for in-office collaboration days 20-25 days per year
