Summary
The Director of Imaging Services is accountable and responsible for the development and implementation of business planning for Imaging Services. The functions include the planning organizing and directing of personnel engaged in providing imaging ultrasound MRI nuclear medicine CT and mammography services designed to treat neonate pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric patients. The Director is responsible for the management and direction of administrative and financial activities for areas of responsibility. The Director approves all new programs and/or changes to existing programs coordinates services with other departments and directs preparation of department records.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Education: Must have a Bachelors degree in Radiological Sciences or Health Care Administration be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and have a valid Indiana State license to operate designated imaging equipment.
Preferred Education: Prefer Masters Degree (MS MBA MPH MPA)
Minimum Experience: Must have five years experience in a related work situation.
Preferred Experience:Multidisciplinary experience to include: supervision performance improvement budgeting business/financial management personnel management regulatory compliance planning and program development in profit sector and/or hospital.
Certifications Required:Current CPR certification.
