Over the last several years our entire school community (prek to 12) has embraced a projectbased approach and teaching style challenging our students to design ski resorts explore our oceans study Native American culture and develop marketing materials for National Parks all in a highstakes public exhibition format. Our students have developed research skills public speaking prowess teamwork and the habits of heart and mind necessary for strong academic social and emotional growth. The ideal candidate will see the librarian role as integral to fostering a love of learning through reading and research throughout the position is a 1.0 FTE for theschool year. We are seeking a librarian with experience in a community school setting and a love of children in all grades who has experience with and a commitment to:Collaboration. The librarian we seek will participate in the collaborative planning of projects at all grade levels acting as a resource to support literacy and research integration. The librarian must be willing to work collaboratively with a broad range of content and Learning: Planning and implementing studentled rigorous relevant realworld projects integrating literacy a culture of reading that is responsive to student interest and needs rooted in deep relationships with students and fosters a climate of belonging respect and inclusion within the library environment.
