Job Description Summary
The Lawrence W. Tyree Library seeks a part-time Librarian to provide reference services and information literacy instruction. The Tyree Library is a vibrant dynamic work environment that supports the college and curriculum with knowledgeable staff appropriate resources and an environment that promotes user success and life-long learning. The reference staff is a collaborative team working with all library departments as well as throughout the college. The ideal candidate is able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends as well as extended hours during exam week; enjoys variety in work projects and is willing to work both on a team and individually.Job Description
Responsibilities and duties include:
Reports to: Director Library
QUALIFICATIONS
Required: An ALA-accredited masters degree in library and information scienceand two (2) years of related library work experience is required.
Additional Requirements: A criminal background check will be conducted.
Preferred: Related work experience in an academic library setting; teaching experience strongly preferred.
