A wellestablished healthcare education organization is seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Program Coordinator to support the implementation and administration of medical education programs. The ideal candidate will work closely with faculty and leadership to coordinate curriculum manage course logistics and provide operational support for learning activities. This position requires strong communication organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced academic setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Collaborate with senior leadership and faculty in the implementation of medical school curriculum.
- Coordinate with course directors and leadership to create and monitor course calendars and timelines within the Learning Management System (LMS) including Canvas.
- Manage all studentrelated activities such as lectures presentations and interest group meetings for assigned courses.
- Schedule appropriate educational spaces (e.g. lecture halls small group rooms labs) as requested by faculty.
- Generate reports on curriculum implementation examination results (aggregate and individual) and student/faculty evaluations.
- Obtain and input final semester grades into the student record system (e.g. Banner) by required deadlines while adhering to FERPA and HIPAA confidentiality standards.
- Participate in exam proctoring as a regular member of the proctoring pool.
- Validate and/or create PreClerkship courses within student systems during the annual rollover period.
- Monitor attendance Canvas submissions remediation assignments and ensure student professionalism documentation is uploaded appropriately.
- Collaborate with academic IT teams to develop and track student performance metrics.
- Provide front desk coverage as needed.
- Assist in planning and executing educational events including preevent logistics onsite coordination and postevent followup.
- Promote a culture of professionalism and service while supporting institutional values.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have 6 years of experience in the same field.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree in education healthcare administration or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in academic program coordination or administrative support in an educational or medical setting preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and learning management platforms such as Canvas.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks meet deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to support faculty and student needs in a dynamic academic environment.
