W Sydney is now casting for a Chief Concierge to lead our Wheels Team. Reporting to the Executive Assistant Manager Rooms this integral role provides a high level of local expertise and presents an amazing opportunity to play a key role in the worlds largest W Hotel with 585 rooms suites and studios.

ABOUT THE ROLE

the Chief Concierge should be able to balance the needs of their team their guests and the business itself while maintaining a focus on excellence and continuous improvement. This requires strong organizational communication and leadership skills as well as a deep local understanding of Sydney.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supervises daytoday operations ensuring the quality standards and meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis.
  • Manages all areas of the Concierge and Wheels team including the hotels loyalty program Bonvoy VIP guests groups in house training and development of talent and knowing all special events taking place.
  • Coordinates Wheels and contractors talent on the driveway valet parking luggage services transportation and rooming a guest.
  • Understands the impact of departments operations on the overall property financial goals and objectives and manages to achieve or exceed goals.
  • Coordinates and liaises with VIP Guests for any requests require while working with the management team and hourly talentto successfully execute all Concierge and Wheels operations.
  • Strives to continually improve guest and talentsatisfaction and maximize the guest satisfaction of the department.
  • Maintains knowledge of rooms and their locations services and facilities of the hotel.
  • Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead influence and encourage others; advocates sound financial/business decision making; demonstrates honesty/integrity; leads by example.
  • Takes part in building mutual trust respect and cooperation among team members.
  • Supports the developmental needs of others and coaching mentoring or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in a luxury 5 star hotel
  • A full New South Wales Drivers Licence
