ACCESS is currently seeking a
Director of Technology Services to assist the Executive Director in overseeing the daily operations of the Network Services Department. The Director of Technology provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of all technology functions across a consortium of K12 school districts connected via a privatelyowned fiber optic network. This position is responsible for aligning and advancing technology initiatives with organizational goals and the instructional and operational needs of member districts. Key responsibilities include managing the data center ensuring secure and efficient Internet access and overseeing systems and services related to network operations cybersecurity software applications and user support. The Director also leads technology staff and ensures that all infrastructure remains reliable secure and responsive to evolving district needs.
Key Responsibilities- 5 years of progressive verifiable leadership in Information Technology including experience managing enterprise networks and staff.
- Demonstrated experience with fiber network infrastructure WAN/LAN technologies data center operations and cybersecurity.
- Strong project management communication and vendor negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead collaboratively in a multidistrict serviceoriented environment.
- Familiarity with K12 technology environments and school data systems including specific knowledge related to fiscal student and EMIS applications.
