Job Description

Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker
Location: Keighley
Salary:(plus approx. 4000 sleepin payments per annum)
Working Hours: Fulltime 37 hours per week on average (Parttime and Bank work also available)
Hourly Rate: Dependent on experience and qualifications
Number of Sleeps Required: 12 per week
Pay Per Sleep: Included in salary estimate approx. 4000 annually for 8 sleeps per month
Service: Childrens Home
Service Users: YPs aged 611 with EBD trauma neglect and social/emotional challenges
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent
Experience in Years Required: Minimum 1 year in an Ofsted Registered Childrens Home
Employment Type: Permanent

The Home:

  • Number of Beds: 2

  • Location: Keighley

  • Type of YPs: EBD Trauma Neglect CSE CCE

  • Ofsted Rating: New home opening July 2025

  • Ratio of Staff to Children: High stafftochild ratio for intensive support

Who we are looking for

A passionate and resilient individual who believes in the potential of every child

Someone who understands traumainformed care and wants to be a key part of a childs journey

Do not apply for this role if any of the following apply to you:
You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car
You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care this is not deemed equivalent
You only have experience in Healthcare NHS CQC or as a Nursery Practitioner
You require sponsorship no sponsorship available
You have only CQC experience and have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Childrens Home
