If you are an International Trade Compliance professional looking for an opportunity to grow we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are looking for a Senior Manager International Trade Compliance who will provide guidance and support on applicable import and export laws and regulations for the EMEA region and more specifically for business activities in but not limited to the United Kingdom the European Union the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Your responsibilities will be completed under the general guidance of the Director ITC. You will exercise independent judgment and decisionmaking within the scope of this role.

This job is based in ClujNapoca Romania.


We provide a flexible working schedule with the option of working hybrid.


In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Lead regional objective setting measurement reporting organizational development and process improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain regional ITC policies and procedures and facilitate regional bestpractice sharing.
Monitor and communicate applicable regulatory developments and directives across the region and ensure timely and effective implementation of corresponding controls.
Facilitate and oversee interactions with external legal counsel brokers/forwarders and trade authorities in the region.
Lead implementation and enhancement of ITC solutions/applications within the region.
Serve as the ITC audit management system liaison for businesses in the region (review/approve all improvement plans open/close findings track/escalate past due findings provide business units support and guidance necessary to address findings in a timely manner).
Support new acquisition onboarding and divestiture activities in the region.
Conduct training and site visits for businesses within the region.
Address ITC questions and escalations from business personnel.


For This Role You Will Need:
Bachelors degree in business international trade supply chain legal studies or a related field.
8 years of demonstrated trade compliance experience.

3 years of experience in coordinating a team.
Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
Proficient use of the English language (both spoken and written).
Ability to interpret and apply trade laws and regulations as they relate to everyday situations
Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively prioritize and execute.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Travel up to 30% per year.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
10 years of demonstrated trade compliance experience in the specified region(s).
Customs Broker License or similar certifications (e.g. Certified Import Specialist Certified Export Specialist etc.).
Graduate degree (e.g. MBA JD or equivalent education outside the U.S.).
Experience with Oracle business systems and/or Oracle Global Trade Management.
Proficiency in other languages commonly used in the supported region(s).
