Summary

Ready to lead a team and take charge of our highquality Porters Liquor bottleshop Were looking for a passionate and handson Bottleshop Manager. As a busy store we need someone who has exceptional liquor and wine knowledge a strong leadership presence and a passion for providing topnotch customer service.

About Porters Liquor and Kalis Hospitality

Kalis Hospitality is a proudly Tasmanian owned and operated company with over 40 years experience. From cozy pubs to bustling bottleshops our 6 hotels and 14 bottleshops each have their unique presentation and charm. Porters Liquor offers a wide range of products from fine wines to rare spirits and exclusive craft beers our staff are passionate about knowing the story behind their range and educating customers to find their next beverage.

About the role:

  • Be a handson leader inspiring your team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee daytoday bottle shop operations including stock management merchandising and POS systems.
  • Educate both your team and customers about a variety of liquor and wine options staying current on trends.
  • Manage staff rosters wage costs and assist with recruitment and training.
  • Ensure the store is always looking its best with a keen eye for presentation and organisation.
  • Lead the charge in building strong customer relationships ensuring that every visit is a great one.

Skills and Experience:

  • Have prior management experience in retail preferably within a bottle shop environment.
  • Possess strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Be a great communicator and able to build strong rapport with both customers and staff.
  • Have a deep understanding of liquor and wine and be excited to share your knowledge with customers and the team.
  • Confidently handle customer inquiries concerns and highpressure situations with professionalism.
  • Hold both a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Service of Tobacco (RST) certification.
  • Be available across 7 days including evening shifts and have flexibility with your schedule.
