OPCHSM Center for Health Care Provider Services and Oversight 875 Central Avenue Albany NY 12206 Regional Office to function as staff supervisors for the activities for the Criminal History and Records Check Bureau (CHRC) programs.

General duties:
The CHRC is responsible for assisting various provider entities in New York State complete mandated Criminal History Record Checks.

Candidates would provide the following supervisory functions:
Coordinate timesheets for all Temporary Staff within CHRC Intake.
Manage CHRC Intake Unit time off requests.
Responsible for managing CHRC Mail Inbox.
Preside over employees attendance.
Communicate with Vendors when necessary.
Preside over employees overtime and accomplishments when necessary
Coordinate Onboarding of New Hire.
Oversee training of staff.
Liaison for Intake Redmine to IT
Correspond with program areas outside of CHRC.
Receive and process inquiries from the Legal on the status of Provider Submissions and conduct the necessary followup
Oversee primary for End of Day Reports

In addition candidates would perform clerical functions including answering incoming phone calls from multiple internal and external customers processing incoming faxes emails and external mail; performing data entry and analysis. Candidates may be asked to perform special assignments and routine administrative functions as specifically directed and all aspects of administrative support. Perform related duties as required.

Minimum qualifications:
Highschool diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a fastpaced setting with the ability to multitask and work in complex databases. Experience in effectively communicating with consumers providers and Department of Health leadership. Well organized detail oriented excellent verbal and written communication and able to work alone or as part of a team. Proficiency working with Microsoft Access Word Excel Outlook and SharePoint applications.
