Job Description

Permanent Full Time Deputy Headteacher
L17 L22

Foxfield School Governing Body are seeking to recruit a permanent Deputy Headteacher to join their Senior Leadership Team. The Deputy Headteacher needs to be a dedicated highly effective and experienced professional. They need to ensure the high standard of leadership and management of the school is maintained.

The successful candidate should have experience at management level. They will be an excellent practitioner who can lead manage and motivate those around them and have experience of successfully leading whole school improvements. They must show ambition and a commitment to continuous development of themselves and the school. They must also have a good understanding of the demands and responsibilities of a Deputy Headteacher.

The post holder will be required to work effectively with all staff parents governors and other stakeholders. In addition to their leadership and management duties the Deputy Head is expected to lead by example in all aspects of their practice.
