The Department
Alfred Health Support Services provides nonclinical support services across Alfred Health these services include cleaning services car parking and fleet management waste management gardens and grounds distribution security and access control ward support linen services ancillary services food services and hospitality.
The Role
The Food Services Assistant will operate as part of the Food Services team and will assist in providing and maintaining a safe food delivery service and a clean and hygienic environment within the kitchen. This will be performed in a manner that meets or exceeds industry best practice and maintains cleaning standards in accordance with the Department of Human Services Cleaning Standards for Public Hospitals food safety in line with the onsite Hospital Food Safety Plan the Food Act 1984 and FSANZ standards and in doing so work closely with other Food Services team members to ensure we maintain a committed safe and socially responsible multi skilled team.
