Set on stunning new premises our stateoftheart venue and picturesque surroundings is designed to deliver exceptional experiences for every guest. As we are preparing to open our doors we are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and ensure smooth operations of our venue.
Job Specification
As General Manager you will play a pivotal role in the successful launch and ongoing management of the venue. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations from business development and team recruitment to event execution. Your primary goal will be to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction while maximising revenue and profitability. This is a unique opportunity to shape the culture standards and reputation of a brandnew venue from the ground up.

Key outcomesThe following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by the General Manager:
Lead the preopening planning and set up of the venue
Recruit train and manage a highperforming team by conducting regular performance reviews
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
Manage daytoday operations of the venue including staff management scheduling and event bookings and coordination
Build relationships with clients suppliers and industry partners
Monitor and improve customer service standards to ensure a seamless experience for all guests.
Oversee financial management including budgeting forecasting and financial reporting
Ensure compliance with health safety and licensing requirements
Create and implement marketing strategies in collaboration with the owner and marketing team
Qualifications and Experience
Qualification in Hospitality Management and related qualifications.
Proven experience as a General Manager in hospitality event and venue management
Strong leadership communication and people management skills
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.
