About the Role
ConnectSydney a joint venture ofServiceStreamBoral andJohnson Controls in partnership with Transport for NSW is entrusted with the management of the Harbour Zone. Our responsibilities encompass routine maintenance strategic enhancements and specialised projects aimed at bolstering Sydneys transport infrastructure.
We have an opportunity for aQuality Leadto contribute to coordinate and undertake assignments across a range ofactivitiesto provide support our Quality compliance reporting and analysis.
About the role
In this role you will contribute to and coordinate all Quality paperwork reporting and compliance administration under limited supervision. You will maintain current knowledge of all relevant legal and regulatory requirements as well as company policies and guidelines to ensure work procedures are in line with industry best practice and comply with all legal regulations.
Key responsibilities will include:
Leading the investigation of all contractual nonconformance in order to quickly detect serious quality problems that may affect clients needs and prevent the recurrence of similar problems.
Developing corrective and preventative actions as required to prevent reoccurrence of any nonconformance.
Advocating a quality culture that continually seeks to improve the quality of its products and services.
Implementation and maintenance of the contract management system and the review and continual improvement of all management plans and processes.
Assisting and training the workforce subcontractors and suppliers to implement and monitorthe quality management system and requirements.
Undertaking compliance audits to ensure all works meet quality expectations.
Facilitating the Management Review as per ISO Standard requirements for the contract.
Developing templates and tools to assist the contract in complying to business and project quality requirements.
Maintaining the contracts SharePoint page and document control for approved templates.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related discipline combined with a demonstrable intermediate level of role knowledge.
Experience in a Quality or reporting role and/or knowledge and understanding of the transport infrastructure industry.
Understanding of ISO9001 requirements and experience in implementing Quality Management Systems.
Understanding of project quality requirements is highly desirable.
Problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work through issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and communicate across the organisation at all levels.
