Job Description

We re recruiting a Director of People & Change for a public sector client on a 12month Inside IR35 contract paying up to 832 per day. The role is hybrid with 2 3 days a week onsite in London Cardiff Croydon Sale Birmingham or Wakefield.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead a strategic HR function covering L&D ER talent wellbeing H&S payroll and EDI.
  • Drive largescale change programmes including workforce design and cultural transformation.
  • Build inclusive policies support organisational development and enhance employee experience.
  • Act as a senior people advisor engaging confidently with executive stakeholders and trade unions.


Essential Skills


  • Senior HR leadership in public sector or large complex environments.
  • Strong transformation ER and trade union experience.
  • Excellent communication stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • CIPD Level 7 qualified.
  • BPSS clearance (or willing to undergo).
