Job Overview:

The OWG Tech department is looking to hire a Technical Solutions Architect to support multiple initiatives within our firm. This role will work closely with architects developers and operational staff with a goal of providing awareness and transparency to the architecture efforts.

This role will primarily assist with defining project architectures while managing the architecture assurance process. It is expected that this role will provide technically strong solutions that are aligned with enterprise architecture principles and provide transparency to architecture efforts for projects within OWG. This role will collaborate with other colleagues from across the entire organization including personnel in the Technology and other Operating Companys IT departments. Must perform the role and responsibilities with a high level of integrity ethics and commitment to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Solutions Architect you will be responsible for:

  • Lead the design and development of software architectures that align with client needs and business objectives.

  • Collaborate with clients project managers and development teams to define technical requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance on best practices for software development and integration.

  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Mentor and coach junior team members fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role in a technologyfocused company.

  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies design patterns and architectural frameworks.

  • Strong experience in developing software solutions utilizing various technology stacks and methodologies including Nodejs Angular React Mongo PostgreSQL Kubernetes Containerization JSON APIs and Microservices.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) and microservices architecture.

  • Experience with Microsoft stack including SharePoint Online Power BI Power Apps Power Automate.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices including continuous integration continuous delivery and infrastructure automation.

  • Understanding of security principles data protection and compliance requirements to design secure and compliant solutions.

Skills and Attributes:

  • 100% fluency in English is a must.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

  • Strong problemsolving and analytical thinking abilities.

  • Unflappable in the face of opposition to architectural ideals.
