Job Description

This is a remote position.

About the Role

We re hiring an Email Marketing Specialist to plan build and optimize our email campaigns across the full funnel from lead nurture to reengagement. In this role you ll use marketing automation tools (like HubSpot or ActiveCampaign) AIassisted copywriting and performance data to drive opens clicks and conversions.

You ll collaborate with content and RevOps teams to design highimpact automations and help scale our email strategy without sacrificing personalization or performance.

  • Update and maintain email templates preference centers and reengagement sequences





Performance Milestones

First 30 Days

  • Audit all current email workflows and newsletter formats

  • Build first standalone campaign and support ongoing newsletter distribution

  • Implement performance tracking dashboards

By Day 60

  • Fully own segmentation list hygiene and automation flows

  • Launch 1 2 nurture or lifecycle campaigns with measurable goals

  • Achieve 30% open rate and 2% CTR across test segments

By Day 90

  • Deliver weekly reporting with actionable insights

  • Improve overall campaign performance by 20% through testing and optimization

  • Lead strategy for quarterly reengagement or upsell campaigns





Key Performance Objectives (KPOs)

  • Open Rates: 30% across primary segments

  • Click Rates: 2 5% depending on campaign type

  • Conversion Tracking: 100% attribution setup within CRM

  • List Growth & Hygiene: <2% bounce/unsubscribe rate monthly list cleanup


Requirements

  • 2 4 years of handson experience with email marketing and automation

  • Proficient with tools like HubSpot ActiveCampaign Mailchimp or Klaviyo

  • Strong grasp of list segmentation A/B testing and campaign metrics

  • Experience writing and editing email copy (bonus for AIassisted drafting)

  • Familiar with GDPR/CANSPAM compliance and deliverability best practices

  • Bonus: Experience using ChatGPT Jasper Lavender or other AI tools for copy personalization

  • Detailoriented and datadriven with strong documentation habits
