The services of a Unified Comms Specialist are required to provide and combine multiple enterprise communication channels asuch as voice video messaging and content sharing.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure unified communication systems and tools.
- Monitor and maintain the health of communication systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to voice video and messaging systems.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate communication systems with existing infrastructure.
Requirements
Required Qualification:
- Diploma/Degree in IT related field (Computer Science Information Technology/Engineering BCom etc).
- Certification: CCNP Voice or equivalent
Experience:
- 67 years experience in the provision of ICT solutions specifically within Unified Communications (Voice Video and PBX) environment.
- Advanced experience with design implementation and support of a IP Telephony environment to include Communications Manager Voice Gateways Voice Mail Unified Messaging and Contact Centre.
- Expert knowledge of basic networking concepts such as Quality of Service (QoS) virtual LANS (VLANs) static routes IP subnetting etc.
- Root cause problem solving mindset.
Qualifications Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Architecture Frameworks Zachman, FEAF, TOGAF 5+ years of architecture experience plus certification Business Architecture and Technical Architecture skills Application Architecture and Solution Architecture skills Experience in developing Enterprise Architecture Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team
